OUR GIFT FROM GOD

I was thinking about Aspen today and thanking God for her. As many of you know, she was not a "planned" child from our human perspective; however, I was reading in Psalms today about how God knits us and knows us before we are born. He planned our existence and the Psalmist says we are fearfully and wonderfully made by God. There are no accidents when the Lord creates something. Aspen Was planned and I am so glad that God chose me to be the one who would raise her to know him.

Aspen had Quite the Exciting week! She learned to ROLL OVER, and Play Piano all in one week! We are sooooo proud. We would like to see any of your kids do that! HAHA! Thankfully we got the rolling over on video tape, because she Refuses to do it again. She did it four times in a row...Stubborn Baby!

Aspen went for a visit to my Grandparents and her Great-Grandparents' house! Her Grandmother Ruda and Grandpa C.T. enjoyed holding her and singing "Baby By" (A song they sang to their kids when they were babies to the tune of O' Thou Fountain of Every Blessing")

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

ASPEN HAD A GREAT DAY. SHE WENT WITH GUY AND I TO THE MALL AND ALL OF THE AIMERS THOUGHT SHE WAS SOOO CUTE. SHE EVEN GOT A FEW VALENTINES.

POOR ASPEN! SHE WENT FOR A RIDE IN HER COOL AIR JORDAN HAT AND THE HAT WENT OVER HER EYES!!!! SHE KEPT CRYING IN THE BACK SEAT AND I DIDN'T KNOW WHY SHE WAS SOOOOO UPSET. WHEN WE GOT HOME SHE HAD CRIED HERSELF TO SLEEP AND THE HAT WAS OVER HER EYES!!!!!!!!! oops! - NAN

Isn't she becoming CUTE??? In the bottom picture we are wearing our matching hats that my friend Lucy McDougle made. The picture of her in the pink and purple was taken the day of her two month old shots. She was having a HARD day!
