HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRIS

Today is my big brother's birthday. Chris lives in Mexico and works hard as a missionary for the cause of Christ. As long as I can remember I wanted to do everything he was doing. In high school I sang in the same group as him, I went to Aim like him, I went to Sunset and LCU like him and I desired to go to the mission field like him. I followed him every step of the way until he went to Mexico as a missionary. I know why I look up to him so much. He always paved the way because he had courage to take the first step. I am still apprehensive about going to the mission field. It is a scary thing to leave everything you know and to rely on God. I love my brother because he seeks out God's wisdom and direction in everything he does. I know this new year of his life is a blessing and that he will use it to the glory of God. He is also the greatest uncle. I think the picture speaks for itself. Happy birthday bubba - nan

We love Robby and Carla! They came to visit for 4 days and we had so much fun that Carla and I begged Robby to change the tickets for three days later. HE DID! We had the best time. I feel renewed! I have really loved Houston, but I have been very homesick lately for my friends. God has been so good to bring friends and family to us and we are grateful for it. Carla and Robby cleaned dishes, bathed Aspen, fed Aspen, helped Guy with a devo, and encouraged us beyond belief. We love you Robby and Carla. Thank you for blessing our life and loving our baby!

Guy took Aspen to feed the Sting Rays at Kemah. She loved it and even tried to touch them. I wasn't crazy about that and so obviously we didn't let her (don't worry Grandparents). Guy was so sweet and kept asking me to get pictures with he and Aspen. He loves his girl and wants her to love fish like he does.

Aspen has grown a lot of hair lately, as you can see. It seems like everyday we think her hair is longer and curlier. The humid Houston weather definitely adds to her new curly style!

Aspen Loves Bible Class. I always get a kick out of her because she is the youngest in class, but she always sits so still with her hands on the table. She is a sweet "obedient" girl. We will se how long this really lasts.

Aspen and mommy and daddy at the Aquarium Restaurant. Robby and Carla Stephens came down from Lubbock to visit for a week. We have had so much fun that they are even staying a few days longer!!!
